DAY1

Well, here I am at 1.30 in the morning dictating my first blog. I’m in the car on the way back to the hotel after winning my first match against Julien Benneteau. I was down 2-5 in the third set but won it 7-5 in the third. It was a very important win as I try to qualify for Tennis Masters Cup.

It will still be a while before I get to sleep, so I may have to take a short nap in the car when I finish the blog! When I get back I’ll get something to eat and have a massage. It’s good that I can sleep late in the morning. I just have doubles to play.

Because I knew I was playing late today I woke up late… too late to have breakfast! I stayed in the room and spent a bit of time on the computer, checking some email. I will stay in touch with friends with email but I always speak to my mother on the phone. My mother doesn’t check email. I normally speak with her every two or three days and I will call her later. Last Sunday was mother’s days in Argentina so I called her for that (but I didn’t send any flowers; she has to wait till I come home!). But she had a lot of other family members come to visit her.

It was raining so heavily today and the traffic was terrible, so I decided to have lunch in the hotel around 1.30. Went back to the room around 3 or 3.30 to fix my things, my bag and match clothing. I got a car earlier than I normally would at 4.15 because the driver told me it was taking two hours to get to the site and that I should come early. In the end we got there in about 50-55 minutes.

When I got there first player I met was Calleri, who was just leaving the site. I told him that I tried to reach him last night but he didn’t answer. I wanted to take some movies from his room but he didnt call me back. He said he didn’t remember my number! He’s got a terrible memory!

So next time I may have to use a service provided by the tournament. They allow the players to take DVDs home overnight and we can bring them back the next day. It’s too late tonight to watch one! But maybe I’ll get one tomorrow to watch in the car on the long drive.

I will talk to you again tomorrow after my doubles.

大家好！现在时间已经是凌晨1点30分了，我正坐在回酒店的车上写自己的第一篇博客。在今天的比赛中我战胜了贝內特乌，不过可真够不容易的，第三盘我都落后到2-5了，最后我还是以7-5取得了胜利。这场胜利是非常重要的，因为我现在正为了能够进军年终大师杯而努力攒分呢。

要回到酒店还得花一段时间，所以等写完这篇博客之后，我会先在车上打个盹。到酒店之后我得先找些吃的填填肚子，还得打个电话。幸好今天我睡得晚一点也不要紧，明天我只有双打的比赛要参加。

因为事先就知道今天我的比赛开始得很晚，所以我起得也很晚……不过因为起得太晚，所以都没早点吃了！我只好待在房间里玩了会电脑，收了些邮件。我跟朋友们都是通过电子邮件保持联系的，不过跟爸爸妈妈，我多数都是跟他们通电话。我妈不爱用电子邮件的，我大概隔个两三天就要给她打一次电话，嗯，等会就要给她打一个。上周日是阿根廷的母亲节，我特地给她打了电话，祝她节日快乐(不过我没有送她花，她要收花得等我回到家了！)。不过，还有很多其他亲戚也来看她了，所以她不会感到寂寞。

今天雨下得很大，所以堵车堵得非常厉害。于是大概下午1点半的时候，我决定在酒店就地解决午饭。大概3点还是3点半的时候我回房间收拾了一下东西，包括我的球拍啊，衣服什么的，就朝着球场出发了。平常我都是4点15左右才走的，今天之所以这么早是因为司机告诉我，今天这种交通情况，到达球场恐怕要花上两个小时，所以我得早点，不能迟到。不过结果，我们只花了55分钟左右就到了……

到了那里之后我碰到的第一个球员是卡雷里，他正准备离开。我跟他说我昨晚想联系他来着，结果找不到他人。我想跟他借几张电影的盘，他都没有给我回电话。结果他居然跟我说他忘了我的电话号码！世界上怎么会有记性这么差的家伙啊！

下次我得好好利用组委会给我们的福利了。他们允许选手把DVD借回去看，第二天再还回来就可以了。不过今天回来得太晚，不够时间看完一部电影了！不过明天我大概会借一张在车上看的，好打发这无聊的时间。

明天双打比赛结束之后再聊吧。
