Cameron(金马伦) and Genting (云顶）Highland 4 Days 3 Nights

Last week of School holiday.

Day 1:-

Depart Penang at 7am, drove to Simpang Pulai (Ipoh). Reached there at about 9.30am, no rushing, follow highway speed limit.Took one hour to reach kampong Raja (Cameron Hihgland). Stop there to wait for a friend. Have lunch at kampong Raja .

Stop at one shop just before Bee farm, nothing much to buy.

Drove to “Boh Tea” Plantation at Suangi Palas. Enjoyed fresh tea (Teh Tarik) with breeze and good scenary, visited tea factory. This is the place everybody should not miss.

After Boh Tea plantation, went to visit Rose Garden at Kea Farm, very few people there, a bit run down, but still not bad, worth visit.

Checked in to Desa Anthurium Apartment at Tanah Rata. 3 Rooms apartment, reasonable cleanliness, with basic cooking facility.

As usual, went to Brincang Town center for dinner, follow by night Market there. Deep friend mushroom was delicious.

Day 2 :-

Breakfest at Tanah Rata, then went to Big Red Strawberry Farm (behind Cactus Valley) (Brincang town center), this is my favorite place besides tea farm. Impressed by the hydroponic lettuce and big pumpkin.

Self pluck strawberry, RM40 per KG. Children enjoyed it.

Good bye to Cameron Highland.

Took the Tapah interchange way to Genting highland via Batang kali. Have lunch at Ulu Yam, the popular “veniger Yi Fu “ noodle. First time tried it, not bad.

Checked in to First World Hotel, the lobby is interesting, so many counters and people there. Can be more efficient. Hotel room is pretty small but still enough for a small family. Dinner at the level 3 hawker center, not cheap, food is so so.

Went in to casino at First World and Resorts, “contributed” RM300 to the development of Genting Highland via casino.

Day 3:-

Spend whole day at Outdoor theme park, children enjoyed it very much. Continue with Indoor theme park after dinner. Tired…..

Day 4:-

Walked around Genting Highland, not many people walk outside hotel. Says good bye to Genting Highland.
